At Practical Session 4, you will demonstrate 5-7 minutes of a lesson (lesson 3) which includes checking for understanding and engagement norms. In a concept-focused lesson, you will demonstrate the conceptual development part of the lesson (definitions, examples and non-examples, dual coding, guided notes, and sentence-level writing). In a skill-focused lesson, you will demonstrate the Guided Practice/We do part of the lesson.
