Following on from the Full Participation task card activity, you now need to plan and deliver a hinge-point question for your piece of content. Total task time: approx 15 mins.

1. Use the activity card that you worked with in the previous activity.
2. Write a hinge-point question on the back of this card that applies the guidelines for hinge-point questions. Use your colleagues to help you if you are stuck. Remember: hinge-point questions are often easier to write as multiple-choice with multiple correct answers, but they do not have to be multiple choice. (5 mins)
3. Trial your hinge-point question in groups of 3-4, taking turns and ensuring everyone has a chance to trial their question. (5 mins total)
4. Discuss the role of hinge-point questions in your lessons. (5 mins total).
