Teach Well’s Instruction and Coaching Companion has been developed as a practical and collaborative resource to support high-performing teaching teams in strengthening instructional practice and enhancing student outcomes throughout their schools.

The Companion is intended to guide professional conversations, drive continuous improvement, and build a shared language and understanding of some of the most foundational elements of effective teaching and learning. It is intentionally selective by focusing on high-impact strategies that warrant sustained attention over time, rather than attempting to capture every aspect of excellent teaching.

Grounded in evidence-based instruction, the Companion presents a suite of interconnected strategies — not standalone techniques — that must be applied intentionally, with an understanding of the content being taught and the unique context of each classroom.
