Acadience Assessments (Optional) Copy

Acadience Math is a suite of assessments used to measure the development of essential mathematical skills that children need to master to develop mathematics proficiency. It can be used to help teachers plan targeted instructional support, identify students at academic risk, and assess the effectiveness of a school’s instructional supports. Acadience assessments are standardised (normed) meaning results can be compared reliably, is thoroughly researched, and measures skills that are responsive to teacher instruction.

As a part of the Teaching for Impact in Mathematics, you may like to assess your students using the Acadience Benchmark Assessments. These assessments will take place:

  • -> Benchmark 2 – Term 2, Week 4 – 5
  • -> Benchmark 3 – Term 4, Week 2 – 3

Below you can find a rationale and administration document and teacher packs for specific year levels. These contain all the information you need to administer the Acadience Math assessments.

The Excel below has been developed to help you collate and interpret your results. This includes comparing your students to the Acadience Math benchmark goals (also below). Please download this locally as an excel rather than opening as a google sheet.

If you have completed the benchmarks using the Excel this year, you may like to complete the data reflection template below and submit it to us alongside a de-identified copy of the Excel (optional).

Please submit a de-identified copy of your completed Excel below.

Please submit your completed self-reflection document below.
