For this task, you are going to practise applying full participation tactics with some sample content. This activity will take 15 mins.
- Take the task card you selected to print from your pre-course materials (also available in the box below). You do not need to select content from your own learning area – you can choose any card that you want to work with.
- Plan how you will deliver the information to achieve full participation, use the Full Participation Poster as a guide. You may annotate the task card as you work through this. (3-5 mins)
- Take turns to deliver the content to your breakout room of 3 or 4 people. You will be the teacher, your colleagues will act as students in your mock classroom. Deliver the content as you would in a lesson (i.e. really ‘teach’, don’t just explain what you would do). Take turns ensuring each person has a turn to present/teach. Each task card will take less than 2 mins to deliver. (8 mins total)
